Dr Rebecca Harris presents plenary talk at IPCC meeting

Dr Harris was invited to present a plenary talk at the IPCC Expert meeting on Regional Assessment in Trieste, Italy, 16-18 May 2018.

The meeting brought together WGI and WGII authors of the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report, including experts on global and regional climate modelling, regional observations and reanalyses, climate extremes, and risks and impacts analysis. The aim was to build strong links between Working Group I (The Physical Science Basis) and Working Group II (Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability) of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Reports (AR6), to improve the relevance and coherency of the regional climate assessments.
