Climate Futures presents to the City of Launceston

Dr Bec Harris and Dr Gabi Mocatta presented to Launceston City Council, business leaders and community groups on projected climate change in the Launceston area and best-practice climate communication strategies. The City of Launceston is planning a new climate change website, with which Climate Futures are currently assisting, as part of a joint project.

This work represents Climate Futures continuing engagement with local stakeholders on climate change impacts projected for Tasmania.

It was a fruitful and thought-provoking day – thanks to the City of Launceston for the invitation.
